We gladly give free estimates. But, if we actually perform work during the estimate, such as using our knowledge and expertise in finding a leak in the shower pan, etc., and you hire someone else to do the work, we must charge a minimum call out fee of two hrs ($78). If hired for the job, we will wave this fee. And if you should fail to be at home, not answer the door, or refuse our service after agreeing on a time and date to start work, we are compelled to charge a minimum call out fee of $78. I always pay my workers for their time and effort. And sometimes there are three workers and two vehicles at the job site, ready to work. This is a policy we have had to enact to recoup a small portion of our losses in fuel and labor cost, and we have lost a days work, which we can never recoup. We hope you understand why we have had to create these re-imbursements requirements. Of course if you should call us in enough advance notice (before we start out our day) there will be no minimum call out fee. Thanks for your understanding.
